The University of Kwa-Zulu Natal Centre for Social and Behavioural Communication
The University of Kwa-Zulu-Natal has established a Centre for Social and Behavioural Communication as part of its graduate Degrees Program in Communication, Cultural and Media Studies. This course explores effective ways to design, implement, monitor and evaluate strategic communication programs that promote health, HIV prevention, care and support. Some of the activities include research projects that analyze existing communication interventions to build their capacity and knowledge in understanding different approaches to strategic communication. Linked to this course is a PHD and Masters program. Students participating in these programs explore the manner in which ABC messages have been produced, circulated and the meanings that tertiary institution students attach to these concepts.
